Petitioning AMC Theaters: Subtitles or captioning for the hearing impaired.

Along with 28 million of other Americans, I have hearing loss and have to use captioning to understand the dialogue and speech on television. I am not completely deaf but have a hard time watching movies or tv shows that don't offer captioning services. I would love to enjoy watching a new movie like many people take for granted, but without the captions I just can't keep up with what's going on and usually have to watch the movie again when it's released on dvd to understand what went on in the movie. Movie theaters already make accommodations for disabled individuals in wheel-chairs, I am simply asking they have a showing available for their movies that would have captions or English subtitles at the bottom of the screen. The technology is already there as almost all new films come ready to be subtitled in whatever language the country speaks where the film is being shown.
Please AMC Theaters, start having shows with captions available for patrons with hearing loss that affects 28 million Americans. Thank you very much.

I'm going to tell you a secret:
Assuming a life-span of about 80 years
And multiplying by 365 days without fatal accident,
you have about 29200 total days of your life.
That's right, suckers.
But wait, here comes the fun part-
now you have to subtract the number of days you have lived so far from that number-
your age X 365 = __.
Now, here comes the fun ... In my case of 43 years, my number of days lived has been 15695.
So...29200 - 15695= 13,505 days left to me.
13,505 days left to live my life.
Strangely enough, I find this somewhat comforting;
I plan on doing things that will last with them, at least trying to.
Planting seeds is good.
The formula is something like 80*365=29200-X (your age x 365)

For all my Republican Family and Friends: Just letting you know that it's ok to vote and think and feel the way you do. It doesn't change me&you one bit. It is hard for me to understand why you choose this line of reasoning sometimes, but I respect your right to do so. Your philosophy, on paper at least, is different than mine. At least it seems that way on paper, but funny when we drink and hang out we usually agree on just about most everything.
I'm voting Democrat this year, and that's ok, too. I like our President. I will support him, but I will not demonize your side needlessly. This whole political circus has become less Ringling Bros vs Barnum&Bailey and more Panem et Circenses, the bread and circus "show" put on by the Roman elite to satisfy and pacify the masses mindless lust for cheap entertainment of blood sport.
How many great ideas and real chances to fix some of the problems and concerns that we all share are lost in the smoke of all that hot air and flaming rhetoric? It's hard to balance a budget when the kitchen is on fire and everyone keeps on throwing more hot grease at each other, none of which sticks but all of it burns.
No, I woke up the other day immune from politics.
My sleep schedule is weird now I see the tv news people all different...they all look like men wearing stage makeup.
Vote your with your own inner voice, with love in your heart, and pride in our great country. No matter who wins the current election, we will both prosper and persevere, thru good times and bad, together as we always have for over two and a third centuries.

UPDATE: Malala is receiving treatment in the UK at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with a favorable chance for survival...except that their have been security threats made against her even as she clings to life by the Taliban which has threatened to attempt to kill her again if she recovers. No doubt, there are Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operatives, both active and sleeper, in the UK as well as lone individuals who share their savage and murderous goals. Security is tight, and Scotland Yard is looking into the backgrounds of many attempted visitors claiming to be family members.

All my heroes are dead or fictional... except for this young girl, who is fighting for her life right now, ALL BECAUSE SHE STOOD UP FOR HER RIGHTS.
Malala Yousufzai, a 14 year old Pakistani girl, was shot in the head by the Taliban in an an attempt to assassinate her as she rode the bus to school .Two other girls were also shot.

Malala had been speaking out for years in a blog about life under the Taliban, a group of cowardly thugs who have no problem ordering hits on children as well as killing airline stewardesses and flying planes into buildings full of innocent people.
The list of their evil deeds is long and written in blood.

And before anyone goes off on Islam, please take a look at the faith of the girl who bravely stood up to this group of cowardly low class filth... she is also Muslim, as are over a BILLION of peaceful people...it's a shame the Taliban is still around on this green planet we all share. Deny the Taliban's right to exist as they deny the rights of BILLIONS to live in peace.
